Members in the Scottish Government Branch will shortly receive an electronic ballot so they can cast their vote on the latest Scottish Government pay offer. The offer is worth a minimum of 3% following the announcements in 2017 that the Scottish Government would lift the "pay cap" it had operated since 2010.

Speaking on behalf of over 10,000 members of Prospect in Scotland, the union's national secretary for Scotland welcomed the news that Ofcom has given a provisional green light to the proposed new BBC Scotland news and current affairs channel.  

Prospect has condemned the  government decision to put out for international tender the building of three new Fleet Solid Support (FSS) vessels for the Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA).
