Learn from leaders, be inspired and get involved at the Women in Science and Engineering conference which will be held on Tuesday 14 May in London.

The event is aimed at women and men in STEM, managers, educational institutions, HR managers and diversity and inclusion champions.

WISE says the skills mix of the future is changing for employers and individuals – and the conference will offer new insights to how women can be central to this opportunity.

Inspirational women will share their stories about how they used new skills and approaches to their careers.

Speakers include:

  • LinkedIn’s Lisa Finnegan
  • Amazon’s Fiona McDonnell
  • Neuroscientist Professor Gina Rippon, author of The Gendered Brain.

Organisations including Lloyds, Sky, LinkedIn, Network Rail, the National Skills Academy for Rail, BASF and Amazon will talk about using recruitment, cultural change and strategic planning to address the skills gap and build a better gender balance for their future success.

The Open University will share new research into STEM graduates and what employers need.
