The event is aimed at women and men in STEM, managers, educational institutions, HR managers and diversity and inclusion champions.

Organisations including Lloyds, Sky, LinkedIn, Network Rail, the National Skills Academy for Rail, BASF and Amazon will talk about using recruitment, cultural change and strategic planning to address the skills gap and build a better gender balance for their future success.

The Open University will share new research into STEM graduates and what employers need.

Other topics on the agenda include:

  • how robotics and AI are shaping the world of work
  • the shape of the jobs market and the skills which are needed into the future
  • new research into women in innovation.
