Aches, pains and strains - a Prospect Survey

Prospect's archaeology branch launches survey on aches, pains and strains...

Prospect's archaeology branch has launched a survey asking members and non-members to help us better understand the impact of musculoskeletal disorders (or MSDs) in archaeology.

The survey, which is open until 31 May, asks colleagues to let us know about their experiences as archaeologists and how these issues have impacted on their working lives.

The branch reps, who are concerned that aches and pains are becoming accepted as part of the job, are also reminding members that lots can be done to prevent, treat and reduce symptoms, particularly with proper guidance and training.
