Prospect has been invited to play a part in a inter union campaign under the ‘Lost Arts' banner to protest against the government's cuts in this area. The campaign is being led by the traditional arts unions including Equity, Bectu, Musicians Union, National Union of Journalists and the Writers Guild.

Prospect and PCS have been invited to play a part, bringing arguments concerning the fate of museums and galleries into this campaign.

Members are urged to join a lobby of Parliament on Wednesday 15 June 2011. The day will start with a rally at 12.30pm in the Westminster Central Hall, followed by the lobby. Members are encouraged to make appointments with their local MPs and raise the issue of arts funding.
