Nuclear Decommissioning Authority

The Nuclear Decommissioning Authority is a non-departmental public body which as a strategic authority owns 19 sites and the associated civil nuclear liabilities and assets of the public sector. They are responsibility for decommissioning and cleaning up these civil sites, safely managing that process and implementing government policy on the long-term management of nuclear waste. With a head office at Herdus House, Westlakes Science Park, Cumbria and other offices at Harwell, Oxfordshire; Warrington, Chester and Forrs, Caithness, Prospect represents over 200 members.
