Eight new members have been elected to Prospect’s 28-strong national executive committee for 2018-20



Eight new members have been elected to Prospect’s 28-strong national executive committee for 2018-20.

Craig Marshall was elected as president and Ele Wade as vice-president.

Neil Hope-Collins was elected as deputy vice-president after a contest with Tasos Zodiates.

The BECTU sector has five reserved seats on the NEC and one reserved seat on the presidential team: Ann Jones is a deputy vice-president;  the other members are Mike Dick (London Production); Andrea Gauld (BBC); Steve Grey (Arts and Entertainment); and Ian Stewart (Independent Broadcasting).

Outgoing NEC members Dave Carty, Peter Clements, Jane Colclough, Catherine Donaldson, Denise McGuire, Heather Phillips and Ken Trapp did not stand for re-election.

This year 8,410 members voted on a turnout of 9.4% of the 89,783 working members eligible to vote.
