NEC election results declared

Full results of elections to national executive committee

The results of elections to Prospect’s national executive committee were declared today at the conclusion of the ballot.

Twenty-three candidates were elected to the NEC from the 32 standing for election. Turnout was 14%, according to figures received from the scrutineers, Electoral Reform Services.

The election of all three nominees for the union’s presidential team means a separate election will not be required for these posts, which were uncontested. Consequently the following are elected:

President – Alan Grey

Vice-President – Denise McGuire

Deputy Vice-President – Craig Marshall

The results will be confirmed at national conference in Bournemouth next month as required by rule. See the full results.
