The deputation included Michael Tampin, Secetary of the Gibraltar Trades Council, Edwin Reyes, President of the Gibraltar Trades Council, David Luxton, Prospect negotiator for Gibraltar and Louis Montiel, district officer for the Transport and General Workers Union.

The deputation was in the UK to lobby unions, ministers and MPs to express their concern and opposition to any threat to Gibraltar’s sovereignty in the current Government talks with Spain over the future of Gibraltar.

A mass demonstration against the talks on Monday in Gibraltar attracted over 25,000 trade unionists, workers and residents.
