This course introduces members to the details of workplace pension schemes and how they work.
It is designed to help Prospect representatives begin to build their understanding of pensions so they can assist members with pension queries and participate actively in any discussions instigated by employers on proposals related to pensions.
This course will be split into three webinars across three weeks. Each webinar will last approx. 2 hours with timings over lunch time.
• Tuesday 14th April 2020 - Course Aims and Understanding State Pensions
• Tuesday 21th April 2020 - Workplace pensions and Defined contribution Pensions
• Tuesday 28th April 2020 - Defined benefit pensions and Trade Unions & Pensions
This course is for you if you are keen to develop your knowledge on how pensions work with a view to assisting fellow Prospect members.
After successfully completing this course you may want to progress to “Becoming a pension champion”.
