The Museum is now looking at scenarios of up to a 40% reduction so nobody is safe and the functioning of the Museum in the Year of Biodiversity looks in jeopardy.

The Government is also seeking to impose huge changes to redundancy terms (to make it cheaper to shed staff) and pensions.
