Following the overwhelming rejection by members of the company’s severance terms proposals the union wrote to BT, informing them of the result and pressed them to reopen negotiations with the union.

The ballot on the company’s proposal to change severance terms has now closed.

BT has now tightened the screw further on employees in the most vulnerable position, those facing losing their jobs as a result of redundancy.

The current situation in BT is one of grave concern to the members of both Prospect and the CWU.
