Members in Wales are being invited to suggest innovative ways to make best use of the Welsh government's new £6m nature fund.

Ideas should suggest practical ways to manage the land and water that will benefit nature, create opportunities for new jobs and income and support communities.

There will also be an opportunity to discuss your ideas at a series of morning workshops to be held on the following dates:

  • Monday 2 December (10:00 -12:00) – Welsh government offices, Merthyr Tydfil
  • Wednesday 4 December (10:00 -12:00) – Welsh government offices, Aberystwyth
  • Monday 9 December (10:00 – 12:00) – Welsh government offices, Llandudno Junction

The sessions have been organised to coincide with the consultation workshops on the Environment Bill White Paper, which will take place in the afternoon on the same dates and at the venues above. Spaces will be limited so if you would like to attend please email [email protected] specifying your preferred location.

Please note that the workshops are there to help people develop ideas and are not part of any bidding process.
