The course will explore the skills required to help you support members through their case. You will:
• learn how to gather and manage information to assist a member in their personal case
• practise listening and interviewing skills
• consider how to use policy and procedures.
This is a practical course where you will gain experience in preparing for and participating at a formal hearing. You should already have completed Reps Part 1 (key skills) before booking on this course.
It is a 2 day course which usually runs from 10:00 on day 1 until 16:45 on day 2.
