This short course gives an overview of employees’ legal rights, including contracts of employment, discrimination law, redundancy and unfair dismissal. The course aims to provide reps with a basic understanding of legal rights to assist them to advise members and to inform collective negotiations.

As a prerequisite, and due to the nature of the course material, it is imperitive that only experienced reps who have completed both Prospect Rep's Part 1 (key skills) and Rep's Part 2 (handling cases) book on this course.

This course is for:

Experience reps who want to understand more about employment law and how it affects Prospect members.

It is a 2-day course which usually runs from 11:00-5.45 on day 1 9.00-3.30 on day two.
